Military exercise with the "16ème bataillon de chasseur" and soldiers of "1er bataillon de Saint-Cyr (military school)"

Dans l’optique d'une prochaine production de chez Model-Miniature. L'équipe MM a pu se rendre sur le terrain de manœuvre de Bitche ou se déroulait un exercice en forêt.
Les éléments y participant n'étaient autre que les élèves officiers du premier bataillon de l'école militaire de Saint-Cyr, présent pour une formation au sein du 16ème bataillon de chasseur.
Le Bataillon étant équipé du véhicule VBCI. Les élèves officiers ont pu s'entrainer et être formé sur ce véhicule.
Le VBCI (
Véhicule Blindé de Combat d'Infanterie) est un véhicule de presque 29 tonnes et peut embarquer 9 fantassins en plus du pilote, du chef d'engin et du radio tireur.
Son armement est constitué d'un canon type chaingun GIAT modèle 811 de calibre 25 mm sur son tourelleau. Ainsi que d'une mitrailleuse coaxiale ANF1 de 7.62mm.
Le tout est complété par 10 lances fumigènes Galix.
Livré au 16ème bataillon de Chasseur en 2013, il remplace avantageusement les AMX-10 P et auront comme véhicule de dépannage l'AMX-30D

Its armament consists of a gun-type chaingun Giat 811 mm model 25 gauge. And a coaxial 7.62mm machine gun ANF1.
This is complemented by 4 launches smoke Galix.
Delivered to the 16th Battalion Hunter in 2013, it advantageously replaces the AMX-10 P,
and have, as recovery vehicle, the AMX-30D
