Leopard 2A6 / Bundeswehr


Cette semaine, un de nos reporter a pu se rendre 33ème Panzerbataillon situé à Luttmersen, au nord-est de la ville de Neustadt am Ruebenberge (banlieue de la région de Hanovre en Basse-Saxe) Ce bataillon est attaché a la Panzerlehrbrigade 9 constitué d'environ 5000 soldats.
Le
33 PzBtl (Panzerbataillon) est principalement équipé de char de combat lour Léopard 2 A6M (le "M" signifiant la protection anti-mines supplémentaire)

Cet unité est une force importante de l'armée Allemande, cependant en 2014 il a été décidé de dissoudre le Bataillon. Dans toute la 
Bundeswehr (nom de l'armée Allemande d'aujourd'hui) l'armée passera de 350 à 225 chars de ce type. L'unité sera réorganisé en unité d'infanterie et obtiendra les nouveaux PUMA.


This week, our reporter go to the 33th Panzerbataillon Luttmersen located in the north-east of the town of Neustadt am Ruebenberge (suburban area of Hanover in Lower Saxony) This battalion is attached to the Panzerlehrbrigade 9 consists of about 5000 soldiers.
The 33 PzBtl (Panzerbataillon) is primarily equipped with lour battle tank Leopard 2 A6M ("M" meaning additional mine protection)

This unit is an important strength of the German army, however in 2013/2014 it was decided to disband the battalion. In the Bundeswehr (German Army name today) the army will rise from 350 to 225 tanks of this type. The 33 PzBtl unit will be reorganized into infantry unit and get the new PUMA.
